“ I would like to thank you both for making my father’s wake go so smoothly. My mother, brother and I were pleased with how the wake went yesterday and felt that everyone had worked hard to make my Dad proud, this means a lot. Through both of your professional can do attitude and nothing too much trouble ways, I found the whole booking and arranging process extremely stress free. You both made the wake itself go smoothly; the food was lovely and well presented, and the room looked smashing “ DH Sept 2019
Social Functions and Corporate Events
The historic setting and beautiful grounds make The Orangery Suite and Gardens a superb venue for intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions, christenings or naming ceremonies, corporate fun days, charity events, garden parties, anniversaries and other family celebrations.
If you’re looking for a wake venue in Dorset which offers the privacy to mourn the loss of a loved one and to celebrate their lives, look no further. The Orangery Suite is one of the closest venues available for exclusive hire, to Poole Crematorium.
The Orangery has its own private licensed bar and catering is available to suit the occasion, ranging from buffets and formal dinners to cream teas, hog roasts and funeral teas.
The Orangery Suite can accommodate 40-50 people or up to 90 in our stunning marquee.
The size and quiet location means that discos are not suitable for The Orangery Suite.
With free use of the endless attractions and facilities within the walled garden, The Orangery Suite is also the perfect venue for company barbecues, corporate fun days and charity events.
Our stunning marquee is available and there is plenty of lawn space for bouncy castles and gazebos.
I just wanted to thank you for the use of The Orangery Suite for our annual BBQ last week. Despite the weather the event was a great success and we received really good feedback from the attendees. The catering was first class, the venue facilities great fun and the grounds beautiful – so all in all it met with everyone’s approval.
